Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We have tried to keep it in plain English.
This website is operated by Paul Weatherall trading as Elementor Geeks ("we", "us"). If you have any questions about this policy, email [email protected].
What data we collect
We collect two kinds of information:
- Information you send us. When you fill in the contact form on this site, we receive the name, email address and message you provide, along with the service you selected. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you put in that email.
- Analytics information. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. This collects things like the pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, the type of device and browser you use, and how you arrived at the site. It uses cookies to do this.
We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
How we use it
- To read and reply to your enquiry, and to quote for work you have asked about.
- To follow up on a conversation you started with us.
- To understand which pages are useful, how the site performs, and where to improve it.
We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry.
Our lawful basis
Where you contact us, we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests — you have asked us a question and we need your details to answer it. Where the law requires consent, such as for non-essential analytics cookies, we rely on the consent you give through the cookie banner or your browser settings. You can withdraw that consent at any time by clearing cookies or blocking them in your browser.
Third parties we use
- Web3Forms processes submissions from our contact form and delivers them to our inbox. Your form data passes through their service.
- Google Analytics provides the site usage statistics described above, and sets cookies in your browser.
These providers process data on our behalf and have their own privacy policies. We do not share your information with anyone else unless we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them for the working relationship and our own records, and we delete them when they are no longer needed. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings and is aggregated rather than tied to you personally.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you;
- give you a copy of it;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop using it for a particular purpose.
To do any of these, email [email protected] and tell us what you would like. We will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EU and you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are the analytics cookies described above. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to work normally without them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
